Vine: Erbaluce di Caluso
Soil: essentially made of glacial sand with subordinated clay horizons, together with the presence of cobble-stones responsible for regulating soil temperatures throughout the year.
Processing: The grapes collected for producing this fine wine are from the best exposed vineyards. After being gently squeezed, selected yeasts are added to the new wine which undergoes thermally controlled fermentation. This process occurs over longer times, thus letting the wine to achieve its unique flavor and fragrance.
Color: light yellow.
Fragrance: Delicate and typical.
Flavor: dry and fresh, very typical.
Serving Temperature: 10-12 degree Celsius (52° F).
Best food matches and cuisine: special with seafood and shellfish, cold dishes and white meats including appetizers.
Storage: in a cool environment with constant temperatures not higher than 18-20°C (66°F). Should be served within two years.
